The Psychoanalyst

Sometimes overcoming a traumatic event, (like your own death), requires a visit or two to a qualified mental health professional.  Fortunately, as you can see here, the famous psychoanalyst, Dr, Sigmund Freud,   is still helping patients on the other side.  Hypnotherapy, lots of reading material about death,  a big box of kleenex and sometimes a good stiff drink are all helpful tools in getting the recently deceased to accept and even embrace their new "situation".
The figures are sculpted from polymer clay and painted with acrylics, the furniture is made from clay and wood and the "books" are clay with paper covers.
Oh, and if you want to try self hypnosis, your can actually spin the hypnotic spiral!
The wooden base measures 5" x  7 1/2" and the piece is 5" tall.

Day of the Dead Skeleton Vampire

Handsome and charming?  Maybe, but also very DEADLY!  Armando told his lady friend that they were going to dance the Tango, but he had other plans for her!  As you can see, instead he has bitten into her succulent, (but boney) neck.  Poor thing!

"Billy", Day of the Dead Bowling Champ

Meet Billy.  Bowling for her team the "Lucky Strikers", she won the league championship at Maple Lanes in 1965.  She's been gone for quite a while,  but this is still her proudest moment!  Billy and her props are sculpted from polymer clay and painted with acrylics. Billy is inspired by my mom who also had red hair and bowled with a baby blue and white swirl bowling ball.
